The Renton Ecumenical Association of Churches, or REACH, on Friday put out an urgent message requesting volunteers and food for the free evening meals they host on Saturdays and Sundays.

According to the email sent to supporters, the lack of both volunteers and food are putting this weekend’s meals in jeopardy.

Folks who can volunteer to serve and/or bring food for the meals are asked to email leighweber@comcast.net to check in so the group will know if they will have enough to proceed with the meals.

Folks bringing food or willing to volunteer are asked to bring it to Renton First United Methodist Church at 5 p.m. Saturday or Sunday.
