Loraine Reeser

Loraine Reeser passed away on November 7, 2015 in her home in Seattle. She was born on April 30, 1916, in Milwaukie, Wisconsin where she grew up and lived her early adult years.

She initially moved to the Seattle area in 1953 and eventually settled in the Skyway community south of Seattle. She held a number of jobs including managing restaurants, book keeping, and working as a clerk at the Market Basket in Skyway.

She enjoyed bowling, dancing and time with her friends and family. For many years she volunteered at the VA Hospital in Seattle. In 2005, she received “The Presidents Call to Service Award” for her volunteer work. She was an active member of the Skyway VFW post and Lakeridge Lutheran Church for over 50 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Cliff Reeser, two sons, Dave Reeser and Roger Sas, and two daughters Christine Stein and Colleen Sorenson. She is survived by two sons, Charles Sas and Harold Reeser, and two daughters, Yvonne Stewart and Linda Mozingo. She also leaves behind a large number of grandchildren and great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren and wonderful friends.
