Lane reductions and ramp closures for I-405/SR 167 interchange cancelled this weekend

The construction meant to take place Aug. 24 to Aug. 27 has been postponed.

The following from Washington State Department of Transportation:

The Aug. 25 to 26 weekend closure of Southbound SR 167, along with all associated I-405 and SR 167 ramps, is cancelled.

The closures were scheduled from 8:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24 to 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 27.

It will be rescheduled to a later date.

All weekend traffic would have been affected by the I-405/SR 167 Interchange Direct Connector Project work, and were expected to cause significant delays.

Aug. 24-27 Southbound SR 167 Full Closure:

For the second weekend of work, crews this weekend would have installed a new culvert under SR 167 to improve fish passage through the area. The following will no longer be closed this weekend:

· All lanes of southbound SR 167 between the I-405 interchange and South 180th Street

· The northbound I-405 ramp to southbound SR 167

· The southbound I-405 ramp to southbound SR 167

· The southbound SR 167 ramp to northbound I-405
