Registering to vote online or in-mail ends Monday

Those who want to register to vote online or in mail must complete it by Monday, July 29. But voters can register in person up until 8 p.m. on Election Day, Aug. 6.

Mailed-in registration forms must be received by King County elections Monday.

Persons are eligible to vote if they are:

  • a citizen of the U.S.
  • a legal resident of Washington state
  • At least 18 years old by Election Day, Aug. 6
  • Not currently incarcerated or in custody of the Department of Justice
  • Not disqualified from voting due to a court order

Eligible voters can register in person at the King County Elections Office in Renton, the Elections Annex in downtown Seattle, or at a Vote Center.
