Hazen’s comeback came up short in a 3-2 loss to Highline Tuesday.
Hazen (3-3-0 overall, 3-3-0 league) fell behind 3-0 on one goal by Edgar Gonzales (assist by Ricardo Hernandez Lara) and two goals from Umelo Ugwoaba (Axel Flaten and Gonzales).
Hazen’s Brady Guay scored two goals at 62:00 and 68:00 (one assist by Connor Hall) to bring the Highlanders back within range.
Foster 5, Renton 0
Foster shutout Renton 5-0 Tuesday.
The Indians (0-5-0, 0-5-0) have struggled offensively this season, scoring just one goal in five games.
Isaiah Jones (unassisted), Mohamed Abdi (Mohammed Awed), Simon Ghebremicael (Ali Cortez) and Tody Tolo (Ariel Roblero) scored goals for the Bulldogs. Tolo also scored on a penalty kick.
Evergreen 5, Lindbergh 1
Lindbergh couldn’t stop a hot Evergreen team, and lost 5-1 Tuesday.
Evergreen has won three games in a row, including an upset of Kennedy April 9.
Lindbergh (1-6-0, 1-6-0) scored at 20:00, but that was all the offense the Eagles could muster.
Kevin Ventura (Kenny Albright), Fabian Valencia (unassisted), Albright (Ventura), Christian Vasquez (Ventura) and Ruani Franco Ramirez (unassisted) scored goals for Evergreen.
Bellevue 4, Liberty 0
Bellevue shutout Liberty 4-0 Tuesday.
Liberty (6-3-1, 2-3-1) had been undefeated in its previous three games (2-0-1).
