The Lindbergh boys soccer team got its season off on the right foot Tuesday with a 2-1 win over the Liberty Patriots at Liberty High School.

The Lindbergh boys soccer team got its season off on the right foot Tuesday with a 2-1 win over the Liberty Patriots at Liberty High School.

Lindbergh scored first when forward James Farrell scored an unassisted goal in the sixth minute. The score stayed 1-0 through the half.

In the 57th minute, Liberty tied the game when Michael Daly scored on an assist from Tyler Wray.

But in the 70th minute Lindbergh’s Alex Kirtsov made an unassisted goal for the win.

Linbergh plays Hazen on Friday at Renton memorial Stadium.
