The Lindbergh boys cross-country team won the 2A state title by one point Nov. 5. Lindbergh scored 112 points, edging Sehome in second place with 113.

The Eagles’ top three runners Luke Garcia, Mark Garcia and Travis Downen all finished within nine seconds of each other. Luke Garcia placed 18th to lead the way. Mark took 19th and Downen finished 21st.

Nathan Haley placed 31st, Mohamud Abdi 54th, Ben Platt 74th and Omelyan Strembitskyy 100th.

The Lindbergh girls team placed sixth, led by Sarah Reiter in sixth place overall. Anna Patti took 12th, Jasmine Fallgreen 33rd, Thuong Nguyen 80th, Elizabeth Hansen 122nd, Cindy Huynh 125th and Brenna Fisher 137th.

The Renton boys team placed 13th. Aslan DaVault led the team in 41st place. Adriel Paine IV took 65th, Brian Reilly 73rd, Hamilton Carter 91st, Michael Weaver 113th, Tyler Pascual 139th and Millais Tsang 142nd.

Joy Barnes finished 41st for the Indians on the girls side.
