Hazen takes league championship; Andrew Franco-Munoz, Nolan Hoover, Connor Broughton win individual titles | Swim & dive

The Hazen boys swim and dive team won the Seamount League meet Feb. 3-4, edging Kennedy Catholic by five points. The Highlanders scored 355 points to the Lancers' 350. Lindbergh finished third at 243. Renton came in fourth, with 90 points. Highline took fifth with 80 points and Evergreen finished sixth with 18 points.

Lindbergh** (Aaron Jacobsen, AJ Lim, Andrew Franco-Munoz and Connor Guhlke) took second. Renton (Dan Pham, Thien Doan, Aslan DaVault and Joshua Mehlhaff) finished third. Hazen (Nolasn Hoover, Chris Foth, Kyle Nelson and Malcolm Mitchell) had the second-fastest time in the prelims, but were disqualified in the finals.

200 free

Hazen’s Chase Onstot took second, Mitchell third, P.J. Warmenhoven8 fourth and Turner Englehart sixth.

200 individual medley

Hoover won the event. Lim took second, and Jacobsen sixth.

50 free

Franco-Munoz finished third, Nelson fourth and Hazen’s Andrew Le sixth.

One-meter dive

Lindbergh’s Tanner Zornes placed second, Jason Kane fifth, and Alex Chann sixth. Hazen’s Shane Thompson finished third.

100 fly

Franco-Munoz** won the event. Mitchell took third and Nelson finished fifth.

100 free

Onstot placed second in the 100 free. Warmenhoven took third, and Jacobsen fourth.

500 free

Hazen’s Connor Broughton won the event. Lindbergh’s Sam Seid finished second. Hazen’s Brandon Nichols took third, Chase Cotrill placed fourth. Lindbergh’s Max Aedo took fifth.

200-free relay

Lindbergh** (Jacobsen, Seid, Guhlke and Franco-Munoz) won the event. Hazen (Onstot, Nelson, Alex Gayte and Andrew Le) took second. Renton (DaVault, Alex Yoshioka, Adriel Paine and Tyler Pascual) placed fifth.

100 back

Hoover took second, Englehart third, and Hazen’s Aaron Brown finished fifth. Lim placed sixth.

100 breast

Foth took third, Gayte finished fourth and Broughton placed sixth.

400-free relay

Hazen (Warmenhoven, Mitchell, Broughton and Onstot) took second. Lindbergh (Lim, Spencer Clair, Adrian Franco-Munoz and Seid) placed third. Renton (Paine, Yoshioka, DaVault and Pascual) finished fourth.
