Wind advisory in effect through this afternoon

According to the National Weather Service, windy conditions will continue through the afternoon with sustained winds up to 35 mph and gusts reaching as high as 50 mph.

After a particularly stormy night in Western Washington, the National Weather Service is warning the Mother Nature might not be done with us yet.

A wind advisory remains in effect until 4 p.m. Thursday afternoon

According to the National Weather Service, windy conditions will continue through the afternoon with sustained winds up to 35 mph and gusts reaching as high as 50 mph.

They warn that the winds could cause broken tree limbs and potentially localized power outages.

Winds of this nature can also make driving conditions difficult, particularly for high profile vehicles and drivers are urged to use extra caution today.
