Santa finally arrived in Renton on Saturday evening, making his way to the Piazza during a brief break in the rain that came at just the right time to get the city’s holiday tree lit.

Dozens of families joined the celebration, which also included members of the SeaGals, Seahawks mascot Blitz and entertainment from folk duo Squirrel Butter.

Santa will be on hand for free pictures from 5 to 7 p.m. Fridays and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturdays for the next two weekends.
