State police looking for info on early Sunday morning shooting on I-405

Evidence shows that a bullet went through the rear of the car, eventually striking the victim near his shoulder

Washington State Patrol detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning on Interstate 405 near Renton.

According to state police, the victim observed a white Cadillac with no tinted windows drive past his silver, Toyota Corolla. Soon after, he felt a pain in his shoulder. Evidence shows that a bullet went through the rear of the Toyota Corolla, eventually striking the victim near his shoulder.

The incident occurred between 2:30 and 3 a.m. Nov. 23 on southbound I-405.

The Cadillac may have exited to SR 181 (Interurban Ave.) in Tukwila, just north of Southcenter Mall.

The victim believes that the driver of the Cadillac may have been upset because he was not able to pass while traveling on the freeway.
