Mount Rainier 17, Hazen 2

Mount Rainier proved to be too much for Hazen Monday as the Rams beat the Highlanders 17-2.

Becca Erb pitched for Hazen (5-9, 5-6) and took the loss. She also went 1-2 with a single and an RBI at the plate.

Cassie Skutvik also earned an RBI for Hazen.

Liberty 6, Mount Si 4

Liberty withstood a late rally by Mount Si and won 6-4 Monday.

It was the third straight league win for the Patriots (7-6 overall, 4-3 league), who have climbed up into third place in the KingCo.

Denise Blohowiak pitched four innings and earned the win.

Taylor Weik went 2-3, Kate Faoro went 3-3 with two runs, two RBIs and a steal, and Alexis Court went 1-2 with three RBIs.
