Softball: Renton wins fourth out of past five; Lindbergh beats Highline easily

Renton 11, Evergreen 8

Renton won its fourth game out of the past five 11-8 against Evergreen Monday.

The Indians (4-4, 4-4) now sit in fourth place in the Seamount. Renton scored eight runs in the first two innings to build a big lead.

Jasmine Bie pitched the whole game and earned her fourth win. She went 1-2 from the plate.

Sable Moton went 2-4 with a homerun.

Lindbergh 14, Highline 1

Lindbergh used a couple of big innings to dominate Highline 14-1.

The Eagles (8-2, 8-2) scored six runs in both the third and fourth innings.

Casey Routos pitched the full game, striking out seven and earning the win. She also collected three RBIs and a homerun at the plate.
