Hundreds of fans attended the first of the open practices Saturday of the Bing Seahawks Training Camp, enjoying plenty of Seahawks action on the practice field as well as a chance to meet the players and get autographs.

This is the second camp since the Seahawks moved to their expansive new headquarters – the Virginia Mason Athletic Center – on Lake Washington in north Renton.

The City of Renton is putting out the welcome mat for the more than 20,000 expected fans who will attend the 15 practices open to the public through Aug. 16.

The third Renton Reporter Seahawks Special Section is now available at RentonReporter.com and in Friday’s edition of the Renton Reporter.
