Richard Perteet, a member of the Renton Rotary Club, helps a young child try on a coat during the club’s annual Warm Coats for Kids, a partnership with Operation Warm and Communities in Schools of Renton. The club regularly buys about 1,000 coats with proceeds from its CAPER Auction. About 600 were distributed recently; the rest will go to local schools.
