A 27-year-old man is in the hospital after a shooting in Renton last night.

Renton Police said officers responded to the report of shots fired at a hotel in the 1700 block of East Valley Road just after 2 AM.

They found a man in the parking lot. He had been shot several times.

The man said he did not know who shot him. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries, according to RPD.

Detectives are investigating and there is no additional information at this time. RPD said any updated information will be released as it develops.
