John Keister will host Renton Historical Society Gala Auction Fundraiser

Emmy-winning comedian John Keister will host the fourth annual Renton Historical Society Gala Auction Fundraiser on Oct. 26.

The former host of “Almost Live” will be the emcee and entertain the crowd with his stand-up routine as he did last year.

The event is from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Renton Senior Activity Center and tickets are $40 per person and include dinner and wine.

A silent auction will be held with bidding on approximately 100 items in addition to a live auction to support museum projects.

Funds will be used to support the addition of new exhibits and maintain existing exhibits. It will also be used to support the Coast Salish educational program targeting fourth grade students.
