Honey Dew Elementary placed on lockdown as Renton police search for suspect

Honey Dew Elementary School was placed under lockdown today, Feb. 14 while Renton Police Department K9 units searched for a order violation suspect.
The suspect was seen running through yards and over fences around the Northeast Sunset Boulevard and Northeast 10th Street.
Officers were able to locate the suspect hiding in a shed in the area.
The suspect was reportedly confronted by police for a traffic stop and fled from reporting officers.
RPD announced 10:24 a.m. on Twitter that the lockdown was lifted from Honey Dew.
