It could be a wet weekend around Renton, with showers expected all day Saturday and most of Sunday.

According to the National Weather Service, heavy rains Friday night should give way to showers across the region, with the chance of precipitation at 100 percent on Saturday with a high near 52. Morning wind gusts up to 40 mph are also possible with sustained winds near 20 mph in the morning.

Showers are also likely Saturday night with cloudy skies and a low around 42 with winds diminishing after midnight.

Sunday brings with it partly sunny skies and a 50 percent chance of showers  with a high near 50 changing to mostly cloudy Sunday night with lows in the upper 30s.

Showers continue through Monday’s commute and into Tuesday with rain likely for the end of the week.
