Valvoline Instant Oil Change opens on Rainier Avenue, donates to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

The Renton Chamber of Commerce presented a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new business on Jan. 13.

Valvoline Instant Oil Change has set up its newest service center in Renton with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, Jan. 13.

With the Renton Chamber of Commerce, Renton Councilmember Kim-Khánh Văn and others in attendance, the newest Valvoline was opened at 100 Rainier Avenue South. Along with the ribbon cutting, the service center team presented a check for $500 to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

“We are so excited to open our bay doors and deliver a quick, easy, trusted service experience to the wonderful people in and around Renton,” said store manager Michael Pierre. “We’re committed to serving our community – both inside and outside of our bays. We’re proud to partner with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and are inspired by their relentless work to provide all people with CF the opportunity to lead long, fulfilling lives.”

The first 100 visitors to the service center received exclusive Grand Opening VIP Member cards, with $40 worth of Valvoline gift cards and a 20% discount for a year at the Rainier location.

Valvoline offers oil changes, air-conditioning services, air filter replacement, battery replacement, differential fluid services, fuel system cleaning services, headlight and taillight replacement, radiator services, serpentine belt replacement, tire rotation, transmission services and windshield wiper replacement.

The Valvoline on Rainier is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
