Don’t give up hope on the hummingbirds.

Mr. Oulette and Ms. Naversen  each wrote letters expressing concern for their missing hummingbirds.  Don’t worry.  The birds are safe and sound, dining at our East Highlands backyard feeder.

Normally we get one or two hummingbirds throughout the year, but this season we’ve been inundated!  This has been going on since early April.

It is common to see two dine at the same time, and more often they take turns, waiting and watching from the trees and bushes.

Surely they’ll tire of my recipe soon and when they do, I imagine they’ll disperse throughout the neighborhoods, so keep your feeders full.
