Renton, Hazen cheer earn spots at state tournament

Hazen and Renton High School cheer teams earned applause at the WIAA Central Cheerleading Tournament where each team took third place.

The tournament was held at Battle Ground High School on Feb. 7 and Feb. 8. Hazen High School’s team earned 63.5 points for the 1A/2A/3A/4A Coed competition. Renton High School earned 81.75 points for the 2A/3A Coed Game Day competition.
