King County Executive Dow Constantine is hosting a special screening of California Newsreel’s “The Raising of America: Early Childhood and the Future of Our Nation,” airing this spring on PBS, tonight at the IKEA Performing Arts Center.

Following the screening, join Constantine, early learning advocates, educators, and more for a panel discussion about what it takes to ensure King County is a community where young children thrive.

The event is scheduled for 6 to 8:30 p.m. tonight and is free. Light refreshments will be served. The IKEA Performing Arts Center is located at 400 S. Second St.
