A Seattle man died in a multiple-car rollover that blocked five lanes of southbound I-5 traffic Wednesday, according to Washington State Patrol.

Just before 6 a.m. a black Toyota Land Cruiser and white Ford Crown Victoria taxi cab collided on the two Southcenter Parkway exit lanes, near the I-405 interchange.

The Land Cruiser rolled onto southbound I-5, where it was hit by a black Toyota Camry.

A passenger of the Camry was treated for minor injuries. No one else was injured.

The 43-year-old driver of the Land Cruiser was pronounced dead at the scene. He wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.

Five lanes of traffic were closed for 2 1/2 hours while troopers investigated.

Detectives are looking for witnesses who saw the crash or incidents leading up to it.
