The 2024 Renton Farmers Market had its opening day a little after 3 p.m. June 4 when heavy rains ceased long enough for shoppers and foodies to enjoy all that the market has to offer, like fresh local fruits and vegetables, flowers, sauces, baked goods, desserts and more. Local food trucks and the Smoking Monkey Pizza’s 10-year anniversary celebration — located across the street — helped bring out large crowds. For more information, visit rentonfarmersmarket.com.
