The Renton Reporter’s male athlete of the week for Sept. 29 is senior Benjamin Bradshaw of Hazen High School, football.
Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?
A: Civics. The government is interesting and the teacher is chill.
Q: Name your Mount Rushmore (Top 4) of Movies?
A: “Coach Carter,” “The Game Stands Tall,” “Fury,” “Saving Private Ryan.”
Q:Who is the person in your life that has helped you succeed the most?
A: My Dad. He is always pushing me to be the best possible person I can be.
Q: You’re on a long road trip, you stop at a gas station. You get one drink and one snack. What are you choosing?
A: Cool blue Gatorade, Airheads.
Q: Describe your pre-game ritual.
A: East Jersey Mike’s and listen to any NBA Youngboy song.
Q: Song you currently can’t stop listening to?
A: “For Fun,” by Lil Uzi Vert.
From the sidelines: For his continuous leadership on and off the field for our school and football program. Ben is a returning all league player who is one of our captains who always puts the team first over himself. He is a great teammate and the type of player any coach would love to have on their team.
