Every New Year, the Sammamish Animal Sanctuary (SAS) makes a call for people to re-consider throwing away their Christmas trees and instead donate them for the happy goats to munch on. And this year, the goats and sheep at the Sanctuary received close to 100 donated trees, piled high along the Sanctuary’s fence. The SAS is still taking Christmas trees, no registration needed.
