New gym gains national attention

At the new Renton business Benavidez Sports Training, the owner’s son David Benavidez had a recent interview in the boxing gym. David is a professional boxer, two time super middleweight world champion. He has held the World Boxing Council super middleweight title since September. On Monday, Dec. 9, he was interviewed by FOX Sports in downtown Renton at Benavidez Sports Training, which opened at the beginning of this month, 231 Main Ave. South.
