Renton Regional Fire Authority posted on Facebook that after handling an accidental house fire in Skyway, responders found a grow operation within the home. After investigation from King County Sheriff’s Office, it’s been determined there was no illegal grow operation.

KCSO reports that King County code enforcement is now involved with the home owners, but that there’s no illegal grow.

Firefighters arrived at the scene with no one home and smoke pouring from the attic.

The fire happened Monday, Oct. 28 at the 12000 block of 62nd Avenue South, was put out by Skyway Fire, Tukwila Fire and Renton Fire within 30 minutes. Crews then turned the scene over the KCSO.
