Hazen High School’s Tim Tuemmler, tennis, was chosen as the Renton Reporter’s Athlete of the Week for the week of Oct. 11.
Q: What was your favorite subject in school?
A: Metal design.
Q: What other activities/hobbies do you enjoy?
A: Soccer, dancing.
Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?
A: My mother.
Q: Do you have a pre-game ritual or post-game tradition, and what is it?
A: Post game tradition – Reward myself if its a dub.
Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?
A: Satish.
From the sideline:
Tim has been playing No. 1 singles for Hazen for most of the season. He has had several good wins, but on Oct. 1 he was the last match put on in a tight match against Mount Rainier. With the match tied 2-2, he pulled out a solid win under pressure to secure a win for Hazen!
