Renton Rotary Club honors October Youth of the Month

Renton Rotary has selected its October Youth of the Month:

Nini Hong is senior at Hazen High School. She holds a 3.9 grade point average (G.P.A.). Hong has been involved in National Honor Society, Key Club, Future Business Leaders of America and track and field. She has received AP Scholar with honor, Masonic Lodge Outstanding Junior, CTE Poster Scholarship, finalist for national Alexander Hamilton Award, varsity and scholar athlete. She works part-time at CenturyLink Field and volunteers with the Puget Sound Blood Center. Hong plans to attend a four-year university, while she is undecided on a future vocation, she would like to work in the science, technology or engineering field.

Anne Lee is a senior at Lindbergh High School. She holds a 3.6 G.P.A. Lee has been a member of National Honor Society, RSD Key Communicators, Eagle Crew, International Club, The Egalitarian (student paper) and ASB/Class Officer. She has earned Masonic Lodge Outstanding Junior, Washington Journalism Feature Writing Award, Rotary Youth Leadership Award. She volunteers with Free the Children. Anne plans to attend Bellevue College and then Western Washington University to earn a degree in Psychology or social work. She hopes to become a social worker or counselor.

Cynthia Mora is a senior at Renton High School. She holds a 3.8 G.P.A. Mora is involved with Key Club, science club, A Capella, culinary club and CTE Robotics. She has received Henry Moses Award, Martin Luther King Kind Essay Award, honor roll and Masonic Outstanding Junior Award. She works part-time in the Career and Technical Education office in the Renton School District and volunteers with American Legion Auxiliary and Vegetarians of Washington. Mora would like to attend the University of Washington or the University of Puget Sound to study in the math, science and environmental fields.
