Hazen tennis tops Highline 5-0

The Hazen boys tennis team is off to a hot 4-0 start after a 5-0 blanking of Highline on Wednesday.

In first singles play, Gregg Furumasu won 6-1, 6-1 while Marcus Lee won 6-0, 6-1 in second singles and David Vaisar picked up a 6-1, 6-0 victory in his third singles match.

In doubles play, the team of Andre Noinala and Sonlam Nguyen dropped their first set in a tiebreaker, but battled back to take the match 6-7 (5-7), 6-1, 10-3 while the second doubles team of Andrew Hwang and Johnny Le won their match 6-3, 6-3.

The Highlanders are schedule to play at Renton on Friday.
