The community is being tapped once again for ideas on what to do with the downtown library over the Cedar River.

The Liberty Park Library Building Steering Committee members and City of Renton staff will hold an open house for citizens to share their ideas and comments about potential future uses of the space.

The open house is from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 15, at the Renton Community Center, Room B, which is located at 1715 S.E. Maple Valley Highway in Renton.

Committee members and city staff will answer questions and provide information on the project to attendees.

They have been meeting monthly since September brainstorming ideas and hearing from different city staff members on development plans in Renton.

Community members can also respond to a short online survey to provide feedback and opinions about the next use of the library building.
