Volleyball: Regular season wraps up; Seamount tournament next

Highline 3, Renton 0

Highline moved past Renton in three games in the last regular season action for both teams Tuesday night.

The Pirates (8-2 overall, 6-2 Seamount) won 25-10, 25-12 and 25-10. The Indians (5-6, 3-6) ended the regular season with two losses against tough Evergreen and Highline teams.

Evergreen 3, Lindbergh 1

Evergreen and Lindbergh battled through four close games before the Wolverines came out on top, 3-1 Tuesday.

The Eagles (7-6, 5-3) got 39 digs from Kaylee Magat. Erin White and Kelsey Nolan had 10 kills each. Shayna Magat had 23 assists and 11 digs. Melissa Peltier had three blocks.

Mercer Island 3, Liberty 0

Liberty fell to Mercer Island 26-24, 25-19 and 25-17 Tuesday.

The Patriots (5-7, 3-6) have three games left this season. Sammamish Oct. 22, Interlake Oct. 27 and Juanita Oct. 29.

Playoffs

The Seamount League tournament is Oct. 26 and 27 at Mount Rainier High School. The top five teams from the Seamount tournament move on to the subdistrict tournament.
