Renton’s Cindy Lim in seventh as second round of state tournament is in progress | Golf

Renton's Cindy Lim leads area golfers after her 76 in the first round of the 3A state tournament has her in seventh place. Lindbergh's Jennifer Steinhilber scored an 81 the first day, tying her for 17th. She hit an 87 Wednesday in the second round, for a total score of 168.

Renton’s Cindy Lim leads area golfers after her 76 in the first round of the 3A state tournament has her in seventh place.

Lindbergh’s Jennifer Steinhilber scored an 81 the first day, tying her for 17th. She hit an 87 Wednesday in the second round, for a total score of 168.

Lim’s second round is still in progress Wednesday at Horn Rapids Golf Club in Richland.

Lindbergh’s Justin Ricardo shot a 106 the first day, putting him in 80th place.

Hazen’s Tanner Bartlein shot an 84, good for a tie for 55th.

The boys tournament is being played at Meadow Springs Country Club in Richland.
