The Renton Indians football program moved to 2-1 on the season with 58-7 rout of the Foster Bulldogs Friday at Foster High School.

Renton jumped out to a 21-0 lead in the first quarter as Davis picked up a 19-yard touchdown, a 1-yard touchdown and a 77-yard punt return for a touchdown.

Not to be outdone, Clayton threw for three touchdowns of his own in the second quarter to give the Indian a 42-0 lead at the half.

Clayton’s first touchdown pass went 9 yards to Juwuan Phomprida-Robinson. Then he found Jouvani Phomprida-Robinson for a 31-yard and 6-yard catch-and-run.

Zach Hasson successfully kicked all six extra points in the first half for Renton.

Foster finally got on the board in the third quarter with a 5-yard touchdown run, but Davis answered back with a 43-yard scamper of his own, his fourth visit to the end zone in the game.

In the fourth quarter, Hasson kicked a 30-yard field goal to make it 52-7 and then Drew Osolson took the ball in on a 6-yard run (Hasson missed the kick attempt) to bring the score 58-7.
