Hazen football blasts Highline for first win

After a pair of disappointing losses, the Hazen football program on Friday clobbered Highline 46-0 Friday at Renton Memorial Stadium to pick up its first win of the young season.

Sophomore Kaleb Magee scored the first three touchdowns for the Highlanders, opening with a 10-yard run before breaking off an 80-yard touchdown scamper to give the Highlanders a 14-0 lead after the first quarter.

In the second, Magee took a hand-off four yards for his third touchdown of the day. Then, Joe Glaefke got in on the action with a 17-yard touchdown run of his own to make it 27-0 going into halftime.

In the third quarter, running back Marquise Lee returned the opening kick 88 yards for a touchdown. Then, Ryan Wong took the ball 42-yards for a touchdown of his own, followed by an 8-yard run for a touchdown from Brandon Ivy to make the score 46-0.

Hazen (1-2) takes on Lindbergh on Friday at Renton Memorial Stadium.
