The Liberty football team made quick work of Lake Washington in a 42-7 win Friday night.

The Patriots (3-3 overall, 3-1 KingCo 3A/2A) scored 21 points in each of the first two quarters. Josh Gordon starred for Liberty, scoring on a nine-yard run, then two long catches (55 and 83 yards). Jordan West finished with two touchdown passes. Tei Staladi rushed for a 32-yard score. Scott Dean and Shane Small each returned interceptions for touchdowns.

The Patriots are now tied with Mercer Island and Mount Si for second place in the KingCo 3A/2A.

Liberty takes on Mercer Island Friday at 7 p.m. at home.
