After dropping their first two games of the season, the Liberty Baseball team has put together a three-game winning streak, including two wins in the past two nights.

On Wednesday, the Patriots rode a 7-run fourth inning to an 8-3 win over Interlake.

It wasn’t as easy on Tuesday, however, when Liberty needed ten innings to get past Sammamish.

The two teams batted back and forth all game, with the Patriots pushing two across in the bottom of the seventh to send the game to extras, where Liberty was able to plate the winning run in the bottom of the 10th for a 7-6 victory, despite being outhit 14-12 by Sammamish.

Liberty is now 3-2 on the year. They are scheduled to play at Interlake on Friday.
