The Highlanders (11-3-5) fell behind with 3:46 left in the first half when Kelso struck first. Hazen answered at the 32-minute mark in the second half when Gabby Brower nailed a long shot.

The two teams continued their physical, defensive battle until Kelso was able to knock in a shot with just 49 seconds left in the game.

Lindbergh

Lindbergh lost a physical game to North Kitsap 2-1 in a winner-to-state, loser-out district playoff game Nov. 5.

The Eagles (12-6) tied the game in the second half when Jordyn McLuen hit a cross that was headed in by Lindsey Pfluger.

North Kitsap scored on a corner kick at the 60-minute mark. Once Kitsap took the lead, it ran out the clock after their goal by subbing players at every stoppage.

Renton

Renton fell to Eatonville 9-0 in a sub-district game Nov. 2.

The Indians finish their season at 3-7-2.

Liberty

The Patriots (15-1) take on Columbia River at Liberty Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the first round of the 3A state tournament.

If Liberty wins, it will play the winner of Everett and Decatur.
