Hazen High School updates swim records

Hazen set four records (3 boys, 1 girls) in the 2023-24 school year.

The Hazen High School swim and dive records are now updated with the most recent record breaking performances.

Records were broken in the following events.

• 200 Medley Relay: New boys school record of 1:38.48 (January 23). They broke their own record from the previous year. Owen Gerking (25.77), Andrew Nguyen (26.56), Griffin Dickman (24.32), Dylan Doan (21.83)

• 200 Free Relay: New boys school record of 1:27.60 (February 23). Previous record: 1:28.42 from 1996. Andrew Nguyen (21.50), Griffin Dickman (22.39), Dylan Doan (22.10), Owen Gerking (21.61). Previous record of 1:28.42 from 1996.

400 Free Relay: New boys school record of 3:12.45 (February 23). Previous record of 3:13.34 from 1982. Griffin Dickman (49.08), Owen Gerking (47.54), Dylan Doan (48.72), Andrew Nguyen (47.11).

• 200 Free Relay: New girls school record of 1:43.53 (November 2023). Previous record of 1:43.82 from 2006. Elizabeth Nguyen (26.00), Madeleine Nguyen (26.71), Jasmine Wong (26.32), Molly McCorriston (24.50).
