Hazen clinches trip to playoffs with 1-0 win against Highline | Soccer

With playoff seedings on the line, Hazen came through and beat Highline 1-0 Thursday.

The Highlanders (9-4-3 overall, 7-3-1 Seamount) advance to sub-districts where they will play Enumclaw Nov. 3 in a winner-to-districts, loser-out game.

The game’s lone goal came when Kayla Hackman knocked in a free kick 13 minutes into the second half.

Hazen rebounded from a 2-0 loss to Highline Oct. 19 and consecutive league losses (Highline Oct. 19, Kennedy Oct. 21) for the first time this season.
