The Washington State Cougars have lost yet another commitment to its in-state rival, the Washington Huskies.
Joe Tryon, defensive end for Hazen High School, announced last week on Twitter that he was switching his commitment.
The 6 foot, 6 inches, 230 pound Tryon is a top 10 player in the state, according to Rivals.com.
He is rated as the second best defensive end in the state behind Ali Gaye from Edmonds Woodway.
Tryon had originally committed to Washington State in August.
He was named defensive lineman of the year for the North Puget Sound League 4A Cascade division.
And he was named first team defense.
He was also nominated for the all-state football game.
Also during his senior season, he was named first team offense as a tight end.
