Vivian Gibbons

Vivian Gibbons, was born September 1, 1930 in Iowa and passed away peacefully on October 9, 2016 after complications of a stroke.

She was preceded in death by her husband John R. Gibbons, and son Steven Laatsch. She is survived by son, John (Joy) Gibbons; son, Stan (Stella) Laatsch; daughter, Jane (Ken) Laatsch; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Vivian was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker who enjoyed sewing, garage sales and collecting interesting items. She could always be counted on to feed all of God’s creatures. She was a vibrant woman who lived her life to the fullest and will be missed by all of those who had the pleasure to cross her path.

A celebration of Vivian’s life will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 15 at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, 1700 Edmonds Ave. in Renton. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society. Please sign the on-line guest book at www.edline-yahn.com
