Robert Seevers King

Robert Seevers King, 88 years old, passed away at his home on February 12, 2012. He was born on March 25, 1923 in Osceola, Missouri. Raised in San Luis Obispo, California, Bob attended Baylor University, and then pursued an acting career in New York City. He later moved back to the northwest where he met and married Gwendolyn Rose Cheney in 1947. Bob raised his family in Concord, California while working for the California Farm Bureau. He owned and operated the Mr. Steak restaurants in Eugene, Oregon, and became a realtor while residing in Renton, Washington.Bob enjoyed singing, preaching and serving in the local community, as well as time spent with his family and grandchildren. Most recently he attended East Renton Community Church and was a member of the Leisure Estates Vocal Chorale. Bob is survived by his sister, wife, three daughters, three grand-children, and one great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the East Renton Community Church at 11:00 am. Location of the church is: 13232 156th Avenue S.E., Renton, WA.
