Mary Margaret Mohr

Mary Margaret Mohr was born November 23, 1906 in Hoven, SD. After graduating from high school in Minnesota, she studied nursing in Aberdeen, SD. She received her RN in 1927 and worked as a nurse for 17 years in Aberdeen, South Dakota.In 1952 she moved to Anchorage, Alaska where she lived and worked for the next 20 years. At age 65, Mary retired from nursing. She then moved to Honolulu, Hawaii and did volunteer work in a hospital for the next 13 years. She moved to Renton in 1988 and attended Mass daily.She died peacefully in her sleep at Valley Medical Center on February 18, 2009 at the age of 102. Burial in the family plot in SD.
