Diane Louise (Creek) Chambers

Diane Louise (Creek) Chambers died on Thursday, April 8, 2010 after a sudden brief illness. Diane was born in Seattle on May 2, 1951, graduated from Renton High in 1970, served in the US Army and worked for the US Postal Service and Boeing. Diane leaves behind husband Ron Chambers of Woodinville, son Pat (Rita) Creek of Renton, daughter Meaghan (Curtis) Barnett of Maple Valley, daughter Sara Wood of Seattle and granddaughters Ashlee and Keira Barnett. Diane is also survived by brother Doug Creek and family of Oak Ridge, TN and many more relatives and friends. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Arvey and Ira Creek. A graveside service will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent on May 14, 2010 at 12:30 pm followed by a reception at the American Legion hall in Kent. Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation or to organizations benefiting disabled veterans.
