Victim shot in the back | Renton police blotter

Man using drugs arrested: At 10:30 a.m. Dec. 9 in the 200 block of Logan Ave. S., someone called and reported possible drug activity. When officers arrived at the location, they witnessed a male using narcotics. The individual was arrested and booked into jail.

Victim found with extensive injuries: Just before 2:15 p.m. Dec. 9 in the 400 block of Monroe Ave. NE, officers responded to a domestic disturbance. Responding officers found the victim nearby, who had extensive injuries from a physical altercation. The victim was transported to the hospital, and the suspect was arrested and taken to jail.

Woman using drugs arrested: At 10:30 a.m. Dec. 12 in the 1200 block of N. 10th St., officers observed a female attempting to ingest drugs at a nearby bus stop. Officers arrested and booked the individual into jail.

Shot in the back: Just before 5:15 p.m. Dec. 13 in the 10400 block of SE Carr Road, officers responded to a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they located the victim, who had been shot in the back. The victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition, but was later confirmed to be in stable condition. At the time, the suspect was not located, and detectives are still investigating what led to the incident.
