Renton police officers and firefighters were honored April 4 by St. Andrew’s Masonic Lodge.
Officer Michael Thompson was recognized as Police Officer of the Year and firefighter Kevin Swynenburg Fire Fighter of the Year.
They were presented with certificates of appreciation and mementos during the event.
He has not spoken to his family since before Thanksgiving, but he was last seen on Dec. 3.
He was found by family.
