Shooting in downtown Renton leaves one dead, six injured

Renton police report that a 32-year-old male from Tacoma was killed in a shooting just after midnight July 23 in downtown Renton.

The first 911 calls were received at 12:56 a.m. Saturday morning over reports of shots fired near South 2nd Street and Logan Avenue South, according to police. In addition to the deceased man, there were six other people who suffered gunshot injuries, according to police.
